However, if Aang manages to get close enough to Goku through a sneak attack and touch him, Aang can take away all of Goku’s energy with Energy Bending. While Aang never learned metalbending, it was Toph that taught him earthbending which in turn may have made Korra’s metalbending lesson with Toph all the easier.

1 Verdict: Naruto Sorry all you Avatar: The Last Airbender fans, but Naruto wins this fight. While Aang is very strong as the Avatar, more so than some Naruto loyalists would like to admit, he doesn’t display enough potential over the course of his show to match up against Naruto’s feats.
Can Aang bend Amaterasu?
Aang grabs Amaterasu by the face and uses energy-bending to strip Amaterasu of all of her powers. Large flashing beams surround them but when all of the effects are over it doesn’t work. Amaterasu still has her powers!
