Btec national students will get their results by 10 August, and Btec first students will get theirs by 12 August. The exact date you get your results might depend on your school or college.

Are BTecs getting predicted grades 2021?
Most BTEC students will receive teacher-assessed grades in 2021. These grades will be based on coursework, internal assessments and mock exams. Some BTEC students, for who the only sensible way to assess their skills is through practical assessment, won’t receive teacher-assessed grades.

What is the highest grade in BTEC?
The highest grade that you can achieve after finishing your BTEC is a Distinction Star (D*). This is similar to an 8+ at GCSE level and about an A* at A level (based on the UCAS tariff points that you can get). The lowest grade you can get depends on what level of BTEC you are taking.

We anticipate that the vast majority of BTEC Level 3 Nationals (QCF) learners will have received their qualification results by 3 August 2020, with most available on 27 July 2020 . This should give them time to speak to UCAS and universities prior to the embargo window.
